MP Thapa Seeks Action Plan for Voter Inclusion from Proposed Chief Election Commissioner

Kathmandu. Ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Dr. Lekhraj Thapa has demanded a concrete action plan from the proposed Chief Election Commissioner regarding the inclusion of ordinary citizens in elections and increasing voter turnout.

During the hearing of proposed Chief Election Commissioner Man Bahadur Karki in the parliamentary hearing committee on Wednesday, MP Thapa raised questions about the weaknesses seen in past elections and the challenges ahead.
