Doctors' Protest Continues Amidst Negotiations with Health Ministry

Kathmandu. Talks are underway between the protesting doctors and the government at the Ministry of Health and Population. Sources say the talks are moving in a positive direction and efforts are being made to reach an agreement today.

The nationwide protest by doctors is over the vandalism and assault on doctors following the death of 54-year-old Rajkumar Patel, who was undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj, by his relatives and locals.
