Karnali Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel Resigns Amidst Political Turmoil

Surkhet. 'As beautiful as Karnali looks from the outside, it is not as beautiful when understood from within. I am saying this for the first time.' These were the words of Yamlal Kandel, spoken in the parliament with a disappointed tone as he resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Saturday.

He stated that he had reached this conclusion based on his two-year tenure. His statement was aimed at the distorted politics prevalent within the province, where it is difficult to get support even for some good initiatives.
