Clash in Sunsari: Police Fire Shots, 8 Officers Injured, 1 Dead

Kathmandu. It was 10:13 PM on the night of Saun 10. Locals of Devangunj Rural Municipality-3, Kapitanaganj in Sunsari had gathered at the Shiva temple and were preparing to go to Kosi Barrage to collect water for Bolbam.

In Bolbam, celebrated by Hindus, water is collected from one river and offered to another. They were going towards Kapitanaganj Chowk in a vehicle, playing bhajans and dancing.
