Rastriya Swatantra Party Leaders Question Convention Validity

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Dr. Tosima Karki has stated that the officials elected from the Chitwan General Convention cannot be recognized. Speaking at a central committee meeting held on Wednesday, a month after the general convention concluded, Karki questioned the legality of the general convention, a member informed. “30 percent of the delegates voted in the general convention. How can this be recognized? Why was the general convention, which was supposed to last for three days, extended for six days?” she questioned the chairman.

Karki, who is also the coordinator of the Health Department, had also objected to being trolled during the general convention for allegedly selling ‘condoms’.
