Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Heavy Rainfall Expected

Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that the monsoon wind is currently affecting the entire country. Currently, the low-pressure line of the monsoon is located around the average position in the eastern part of Nepal and north of the average position in the western part of Nepal.

Due to this, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are currently experiencing generally cloudy skies. Madesh Province has partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali provinces, and in one or two places in Sudurpaschim Province.
