Tribhuvan University Executive Council Meeting Uncertain Due to Incomplete Formation

Kathmandu. Uncertainty looms over the Tribhuvan University Executive Council meeting. The council has not been able to be fully constituted even 27 days after the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor, causing the meeting to be uncertain, which has created difficulties in the university's policy decisions.

The work of determining the staff and employee positions of Tribhuvan University (TU) and appointing and promoting based on the recommendation of the Service Commission has been halted. If the meeting cannot be held, even the salaries of the teachers and employees may be stopped. The appointment of Deans, Executive Directors, Heads of Central Departments, and Campus Chiefs has been affected due to the inability to hold the meeting.
