Across the Global South, rural communities are losing their young people to migration driven by limited opportunities, poor infrastructure, and economic stagnation. This weakens local economies, abandons farmland, and threatens traditional cultures and heritage. To counter this crisis, villages must transform into resilient, technology-enabled, and culturally vibrant economic hubs through smart, sustainable investments.
