Pokhara Juice Shops Found Unhygienic, Fined

Pokhara. Juice shops in Pokhara have been found unhygienic. After 4 people fell ill last Monday from drinking juice from a fresh juice shop in Lakeside, the district monitoring committee has intensified monitoring of juice shops here. The said shop was fined 50,000 rupees.

After that, monitoring has been regularly carried out in shops in other areas as well. On Thursday, 7 juice shops in different locations at Rashtra Bank Chowk and Shahid Chowk were monitored. During the monitoring, except for one or two, it was found that most juice shops lacked cleanliness, were not registered for business, had not renewed their licenses, and were not registered for weighing.
