Arniko Highway Blocked for Two Weeks Due to Landslides

Kathmandu. The Arniko Highway, the country's main trade route connecting to the northern border with China, Tatopani, has been completely blocked for the past two weeks.

Due to continuous landslides, the highway has been damaged in various places, bringing vehicular movement to a standstill. However, two weeks after the road was closed, the government and concerned bodies have not taken any concrete steps to open it, causing significant hardship to the residents of the border areas and businessmen importing and exporting goods from China.
