3,951 Disaster Incidents Reported Across Nepal Between April 14 and July 29

Kathmandu. From April 14 to July 29, a total of 3,951 disaster-related incidents occurred in various parts of the country. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, these incidents resulted in 193 deaths, 3 missing persons, 1,165 injured, and 5,087 families affected.

During this period, the most frequent incidents were 1,002 fires, 670 snakebites, 662 landslides, 479 thunderstorms, 231 lightning strikes, 226 heavy rainfall events, 218 wildlife attacks, 198 floods, and 191 forest fires.
