Four Bodies Found After Avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan

Kathmandu. Among the climbers who went out of contact after an avalanche on the 8,047-meter high Broad Peak in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range, 4 bodies have been found. The rescue team deployed on the ground has found 4 bodies on Broad Peak, said Irfan Arshad Khan, President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan. He informed via an Instagram post that the rescue team found 4 bodies. However, the BBC has not been able to independently confirm this detail.

Earlier, Nepal's Ambassador to Pakistan, Rita Dhital, had said that she had heard reports of bodies being found at the scene. However, she clarified that such reports have not been officially confirmed yet.
