Government Registers Nine Bills in Federal Parliament Secretariat in One Day

Kathmandu. The government has registered 9 bills in the Federal Parliament Secretariat in a single day. The bills were registered in the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on August 14. Of the registered bills, 7 were registered in the House of Representatives and 2 in the National Assembly. The government has set a target of submitting 166 bills to the parliament within this fiscal year. Spokesperson of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Joint Secretary Ekram Giri, informed that 9 bills arrived at the secretariat on Thursday, some were registered on Thursday itself and some on Friday.

According to Spokesperson Giri, the bills registered in the House of Representatives include the Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083, Remuneration, Service Conditions and Facilities of Office Bearers of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill 2083, Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Bill, 2083, Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083. The Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083 and the Liability of Domestic Air Services Bill, 2083 have been registered in the National Assembly.
