Thousands of Migrants Enter Spain's Ceuta, Crisis Erupts at Border

Madrid. A major crisis has arisen at the border after thousands of migrants entered Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta from Morocco. At least 9 people have died due to stampedes during border crossing and risks of the sea route.

Following this incident, local authorities in Ceuta have demanded that the Spanish government declare a national emergency. They have also demanded the deployment of more security forces and the army.
