Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Sapkota Appointed to Tribhuvan University Executive Council Amidst Plagiarism Allegations

Kathmandu. Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Sapkota, accused of plagiarism in his research paper, has been appointed as a member of the Tribhuvan University Executive Council. TU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa appointed Sapkota to the council on Thursday.

TU Spokesperson Nabinendra Prasad Bhandari informed that Sapkota, along with Head of the Central Department of Botany Prof. Dr. Vijaya Pant, Dean of TU Institute of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mohanraj Sharma, and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. DN Parajuli, were appointed.
