Siddhartha Thapa Released on Bail in Passport Contract Case

Kathmandu. Siddhartha Thapa, who was implicated in the passport contract case, has been released on ordinary bail. The bench of Special Court Chairman Basudev Acharya and member Hemant Rawal ordered that Thapa, Nepal representative of German company Veridos, be released on ordinary bail. Thapa had appeared before the Special Court today after submitting an application to appear in court.
The CIAA had filed a case in the Special Court on June 3, 2083, claiming corruption in passport procurement.
