UEFA Opposes FIFA's Private Investment Plan, Threatens Boycott

European Football Association (UEFA) President Aleksander Čeferin has been firmly opposing many of the changes proposed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

On Thursday, July 30, an unexpected statement was released. In terms of impact, the European football governing body UEFA could not have given a bigger reaction. UEFA said, 'UEFA and its national associations will not participate in FIFA's competitions.'
