International Climbing Team Including Nirmal Purja Missing After Avalanche on Broad Peak

Kathmandu. Nirmal Purja, also known as 'Nims Dai', is an indomitable adventurer who has surprised the world by conquering the word 'impossible' in the world of adventurous mountaineering.

The entire mountaineering fraternity is currently in shock after a 10-member international climbing team led by Nims Dai went missing in an avalanche on Pakistan's extremely challenging Broad Peak. The team was caught in a massive avalanche on Thursday afternoon on Broad Peak, which is 8,047 meters high and located in the Karakoram mountain range. There has been no contact with the team since then. Search operations, which were halted overnight on Friday due to bad weather, are set to resume, according to Pakistani officials.
