Police Arrest Fugitive Convicted of Rape

Birgunj. Police have arrested a fugitive defendant in a forced sexual intercourse case who was sentenced to 18 years in prison. A decision implementation team dispatched from the Area Police Office Pokharia, based on special information, took 23-year-old Sadam Ansari, a resident of Lamariya, Pokharia Municipality-2, Parsa, under control today from the Lamariya road section and handed him over to the District Court.

District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakrabahadur Mall informed that Ansari was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the crime of forced sexual intercourse by the Parsa District Court's decision on Chaitra 29, 2078 BS.
