39 Arrested in Madhesh Province for Disrupting Religious Tolerance

Kathmandu. Police are investigating 39 people arrested on charges of attempting to disrupt religious tolerance in Madhesh Province. Five people were arrested from Siraha on Friday, 21 from Dhanusha, 9 from Sarlahi, 1 from Parsa, 2 from Mahottari, and one from Saptari.

Police spokesperson (DIG) Abi Narayan Kafle told Ratopati that investigations will proceed against the accused according to their offenses. He said, 'If evidence is found against the arrested accused, a case will be filed.'
