8-Point Agreement Reached Between Family of Deceased and Home Minister Regarding Siraha Protest

Siraha. An 8-point agreement has been reached between the family of 15-year-old Ganesh Yadav of Tulsiyahi, Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, who died from a gunshot during a protest in Golbazar, Siraha, related to the incident in Sunsari, and Home Minister Suden Gurung. Home Minister Gurung told reporters after meeting the family that the agreement was made by adding three more points from the government's side to the five points put forward by the family.

According to the Home Minister, the agreement includes a thorough investigation into the incident, initiating the process to declare Ganesh a martyr from the state, providing Rs 1 million in financial assistance to the family, providing free health services and free education to the deceased's brother and sister, constructing a park in Ganesh's name, arranging free health treatment for his parents, and handing over the body to be cremated tomorrow. He also stated that the government would provide the necessary expenses for the cremation.
