Flood Relief and Rescue Operations Intensified in Rasuwa

Rasuwa. Relief and rescue operations have been intensified in the affected areas after a severe flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday morning. The home administration has mobilized 13,295 security personnel to protect the citizens affected by the disaster.

To make the rescue work in the flood-affected areas systematic and effective, 7,250 personnel from the Nepal Police, 4,200 from the Nepali Army, and 1,845 from the Armed Police Force Nepal are directly engaged. Due to the disruption of road networks, the rescue teams are advancing their work through both air and foot routes.
