Birgunj sanitation workers end strike after deal on wages, working conditions

Sanitation workers return to work after an agreement on wages, overtime pay, safety measures and job security reached through municipal mediation.

A strike by sanitation workers in Birgunj Metropolitan City ended on Monday after an agreement between the protesting workers and the contractor company under the mediation of the metropolitan office.
