Elderly Man Dies in Nawalparasi Road Accident

Nawalparasi. An elderly man has died after being hit by a truck on the East-West Highway in Halchok, Kawasoti Municipality –08. The truck, whose number was not immediately known, was going from Kawasoti towards Dand when it hit pedestrian Tulsiprasad Chhwal, 79, a resident of Kawasoti Municipality –08. He died on the spot in the accident. During the investigation, a suspicious truck numbered Ba 3 Ka 1903 on the East-West Highway in Madhyabindu Municipality –11 was found and taken under control around 7:30 in the morning. The driver of the truck is absconding, and a search for him and further investigation into the incident are underway.
