Bagmati Cleanup Campaign Completes 690th Week

Kathmandu. The Bagmati Cleanup Mahabhiyan, which started with the slogan 'Two Hours of Service to the Nation Every Week', has completed its 690th week. The 690th week of the cleanup campaign was carried out on the banks of the Bagmati River in the Guhyeshwori Phant area.

Campaigner Kishorsingh Shahi informed that half a ton of non-biodegradable waste was managed from the cleanup. Biodegradable waste is buried on the riverbank. He stated that the non-biodegradable waste collected from the cleanup campaign was managed in coordination with the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Environment Department, Teku.
