Nepali Film 'Teen Tighre Kya Bigre' Mandates Weekly Day Off for Technicians

Kathmandu. Although the issue of labor rights and a regular weekly holiday for technicians in the Nepali film sector has been raised from time to time, the practice of formally implementing it has been rarely seen. Amidst busy shooting schedules, long working hours, and remuneration issues, the need for rest and family time for technicians often gets overshadowed.
Keeping this situation in mind, the Nepali feature film 'Teen Tighre Kya Bigre', under production by Raguji Films, has decided to provide an mandatory weekly holiday for film technicians. The production side has stated that this decision was made considering the need for technicians to get physical and mental rest amidst the ongoing shooting schedule of the film, which is currently being shot rapidly in Kathmandu and is expected to continue for 30-40 days.
