Religious Harmony and Shared Life in Kotila Village

Today, news of ethnic and religious tensions are coming from various corners of the country. Somewhere there is division in the name of faith, and somewhere there is conflict in the name of caste. Reading such news makes the heart heavy. And spontaneously comes to memory - my birthplace, Kotila in Budhinanda Municipality of Bajura district.

That is not just a village, it is the world of my childhood. Where people were known by their behavior, not by religion. Where the basis of relationship was intimacy, not caste. Where we learned the lesson of humanity not from any book, but from village life.
