Ministry urges Chief Justice to set up dedicated benches for cooperative fraud cases

A task force formed following a Supreme Court directive has recommended dedicated benches in district courts with heavy cooperative fraud caseloads to speed up trials and help victims recover their savings.
The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has submitted a report to Chief Justice Manoj Sharma recommending the immediate establishment of dedicated benches to hear cooperative fraud cases in district courts with heavy caseloads.
