Government Forms Three Task Forces Following Agreement with Medical Association

Kathmandu. Following a 5-point agreement reached between the government and the Nepal Medical Association on August 13 in the presence of Minister Nisha Mehta, the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has formed three separate task forces.

These task forces have been formed based on the agreement reached with the participation of representatives from the Home, Law, and Industry Ministries, for the amendment of health sector-related laws and the implementation of old agreements. All formed task forces have been mandated to submit a report with a draft and implementation framework to the ministry within the next 15 days.
