Jhalanath Khanal Denies Forming New Party, Advocates for Socialist Ideological Group

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the Communist Party of Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, has denied allegations of forming a new party. Speaking at a book release event in Kathmandu on Monday, Khanal expressed dissatisfaction with the misinformation that he was planning to break the party and form a new one.
‘Just this morning, misinformation spread that Jhalanath is forming a separate party. I want to tell those friends that Jhalanath is a person who stays without forming any faction. It is necessary to form a socialist ideological group, not to split the party. The party must be united on the basis of correct policy, thought, and principle,’ he said.
