Russian Ship Delivers Military Vehicles to Mali

Moscow. The Russian cargo ship Mikhail Britnev, which is under US sanctions, has delivered a large quantity of military vehicles to Mali. On July 25, Mali's state television broadcast footage of a long convoy of armored vehicles, military trucks, and light combat vehicles entering the capital Bamako. The vehicles were said to have been brought from the port of Lomé in Togo.

According to the ship's tracking data, the Mikhail Britnev reached the port of Lomé on July 9. Experts have stated that analysis of satellite images shows the ship carried armored personnel carriers, military trucks, and light military vehicles.
