Hulaki Highway Section Nears Completion

Janakpurdham. The construction of the Hulaki Highway, considered the backbone of Madhesh Province's development, from Siraha to Sarlahi has reached its final stage. In this section, 24 bridges have been constructed, and more than 90 percent of the road has been blacktopped.

According to the Hulaki Highway Directorate here, out of the 406.43 kilometers from Siraha to Sarlahi, 347.63 kilometers have been blacktopped. Construction of 19 bridges, including three in Dhanusha, seven in Sarlahi, three in Mahottari, and three in Siraha, has reached the final stage. Out of the remaining 58.8 kilometers of road to be blacktopped, the tender process for 12.8 kilometers has begun.
