Iraq and Turkey Sign One-Year Deal for Crude Oil Export

Kathmandu. Iraq has signed a one-year agreement with Turkey to transport crude oil through the Iraq-Turkey pipeline to Turkey's Ceyhan port and export it. Iraq's Oil Ministry provided information about this on Saturday.

According to the ministry, under the agreement, Iraq will export at least 750,000 barrels of crude oil daily through the said pipeline. Iraqi Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudeir said that the relevant companies of both countries will start working for the implementation of the agreement.
