Saptari Administration Lifts Curfew, Imposes Prohibitory Orders in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain Municipalities

Rajbiraj. The Saptari District Administration Office has removed the curfew imposed in Rajbiraj Municipality and Bodebarsain Municipality and implemented prohibitory orders. According to a notice issued by Chief District Officer Shyamkrishna Thapa, the District Security Committee decided to issue prohibitory orders in the said locations at today's meeting.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed in both municipalities, prohibiting more than five people from gathering, holding assemblies, processions, sit-ins, or demonstrations, until further notice. The administration has urged the general public not to violate the prohibitory orders issued under Section 6(3)(a) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.
