196 Dead, 4 Missing in Disasters Between April 14 and July 31

Kathmandu. 196 people have died in disaster incidents in various parts of the country from April 14 to July 31. 4 people are still missing. According to the bulletin issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, a total of 4,053 disaster incidents have been registered during this period.
Since April, 5,188 families have been affected. From April 14 to July 31, 196 people died, 4 went missing, and 1,218 were injured in 4,053 disaster incidents. Snakebite has become the main fatal cause of disaster, with 54 deaths and 668 injuries. In 716 snakebite incidents, 718 families were affected.
