National gathering proposed on Aug 5 to 'connect NC with country'

Kathmandu, Aug 2: In view of widening rift in the Nepali Congress (NC) with two visible factions- one favouring the leadership elected via special general convention and another favouring the leadership elected via the 14th general convention- a national gathering has been called for August 5 in a bid to patch up the difference and connect NC with country and people.
