Communal Riots Spread to Madhesh Province, Deaths Reported

Kathmandu. The impact of the communal riots that broke out in Sunsari spread to the districts of Madhesh Province.

After two people died in Sunsari, 18-year-old Ganesh Yadav lost his life on Shrawan 14 due to a police bullet during a protest in Golbazar, Siraha. Ganesh, who was from Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, Siraha, was living in Golbazar for his studies. He was shot in the neck by police while on the street looking for cooking gas. The family has taken the body after a 7-point agreement was reached between the government side, with Home Minister Sudhan Gurung present, and Ganesh's family.
