Health Minister Mehta Addresses Nurse Jyoti Ranabhat's Demands Amidst Ongoing Strike

Kathmandu. Health Minister Nisha Mehta has drawn attention to the deteriorating health condition and demands of nurse Jyoti Ranabhat, who has been on a hunger strike for five days.

Minister Mehta mentioned on social media Facebook on Monday that as she herself is a health worker, she is fully sensitive to the condition of the satyagrahi. She expressed confidence that the problem can be resolved through talks and dialogue. She claimed that the ministry has been continuously trying to coordinate and communicate through the negotiation committee, additional secretary, secretary, and other concerned bodies from the beginning. She stated that the chairperson of the parliamentary committee related to health and education has also been continuously mediating and initiating talks to bring this matter to a positive conclusion.
