Powerful Earthquake Strikes Mindanao, Tsunami Warnings Issued

Manila. A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 struck the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on Monday morning, centered there.

Immediately after the earthquake, tsunami warnings were issued for Asian countries including the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan, stating that a tsunami could occur.
