Hamas Accuses Israel of Disrupting Ceasefire Deal with Gaza Attack

Gaza Strip. Palestinian group Hamas has accused Israel of attacking the Gaza Strip to disrupt the ceasefire agreement. In a statement issued by Hamas, it is claimed that Israel's deliberate military attack sought to obstruct the understanding reached with mediators, especially the United States. The understandings were said to be for the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. Hamas has urged mediators to immediately put pressure on Israel to stop the attack, accusing Israel's indiscriminate and criminal bombing of causing the death of entire families in Gaza.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that at least 19 Palestinians were killed on Sunday as the Israeli army continued its attacks in Gaza. US President Donald Trump recently unveiled a new roadmap for the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. According to the proposal, Hamas would have to lay down its arms, and the Israeli army would have to withdraw from Gaza in phases.
