India Bypoll Results: Prashant Kishor Leads in Bihar, BJP Ahead in Gujarat, Close Contest in Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi. Counting is underway for the by-elections held on July 30 in three assembly seats in three states of India: Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

In Bihar's Bankipur, Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor is consistently maintaining the lead. He has received 13,500 votes so far. BJP's Niraj Kumar has received 9,689 votes and is trailing by 3,811 votes. Meanwhile, RJD's Rekha Kumari is in third place with 2,599 votes.
