Foreign Ministry Official Arrested for Illegal Travel Documents

Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested Pushparaj Bhattarai, a joint secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

SP Anupam Shamsher Rana of CIB informed about the arrest of Joint Secretary Bhattarai. According to him, Bhattarai was sued in the District Court Kathmandu on Monday by the District Government Attorney's Office, Kathmandu, in a case related to passports for allegedly issuing travel permits illegally in the name of Tibetan refugees.
