Veteran Goalkeeper Vozinha Welcomed in Chile

Kathmandu. Cape Verde's veteran goalkeeper Vozinha has been grandly welcomed in Chile. Supporters welcomed him at the airport after the 40-year-old Vozinha arrived to join Chile's top division club Colo-Colo.

Vozinha became a national hero after Cape Verde reached the knockout stage for the first time in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He performed excellently throughout the tournament, making crucial saves in decisive matches and playing a big role in taking the team to historic achievements.
