Former Captain Hari Khadka Urges PM to Reinstate Nepal in International Football

Kathmandu. As Nepal's participation in the SAFF Championship 2026 remains uncertain, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) suspended Technical Director and former national team captain Hari Khadka has urged the Prime Minister to take necessary initiatives to bring football back to international competitions.

Addressing the Prime Minister through social media Facebook, Khadka stated that Nepali football is in a serious crisis due to FIFA's suspension. He mentioned that the future of thousands of players, years of hard work, and the nation's prestige are at stake, and the government's active role is necessary to coordinate with the concerned bodies and resolve the problem immediately.
