Nine road sections blocked after monsoon-induced disasters

Kathmandu, Aug. 3: With the relentless rains, landslides and floods have wreaked havoc on nine major highways and roads across various districts in the country. Nepal Police shared updates as of 5:00 pm today, noting that some roads are completely blocked while others have restrictions on vehicle movement during the night.

The Nepal Police Headquarters stated that the road sections in Kavre, Sindhuli, Makawanpur, Ilam, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Rasuwa, Lalitpur, Taplejung and Lamjung districts have been affected from the monsoon-induced disasters.
