Kathmandu. The deadliest measles outbreak in decades in Bangladesh has claimed the lives of hundreds of children, causing severe financial impact on impoverished families, aid groups warned on Monday.
According to health department statistics, at least 844 children affected by measles died from March 15 to the beginning of August, while more than 112,000 people received hospital treatment for this preventable disease.
