Industrial Zone Project in Naubasta, Banke Faces Delays Due to Land Disputes and Resettlement Issues

Butwal. More than a decade has passed since the process began with the objective of constructing a provincial-level industrial zone in Naubasta, Ward-3 of Baijanath Rural Municipality, Banke, but the industrial zone has not yet been established.

Although some work such as land management, fencing, and road track opening has been done since the federal government announced the construction of an industrial zone in Naubasta in 2072 BS, the construction process has not progressed as expected.
