Tourism Worker Dawa Sherpa Rescued Alive After Week Missing Near Everest Base Camp

Kathmandu. Tourism worker Dawa Sherpa (Hillary), who had been missing for a week in the Everest Base Camp area, has been found alive and brought to Kathmandu by helicopter for rescue. Sherpa, who was rescued from the Khumbu Icefall area, was brought to Hams Hospital in Kathmandu by helicopter after initial treatment. He was brought to Kathmandu for further treatment in a condition where his hands and feet were affected by snow.
