China Pledges $14.7 Million in Emergency Aid to Venezuela After Devastating Earthquake

Kathmandu. China has announced it will provide emergency relief aid worth 100 million yuan (approximately 14.7 million US dollars) to Venezuela, which suffered heavy human casualties from a powerful earthquake. Beijing has pledged to assist in relief and reconstruction after more than 1,450 people lost their lives due to two powerful earthquakes.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiaqun informed at a press conference that the Chinese government will provide free emergency relief materials to Venezuela. According to him, the aid will be used to support relief distribution, rescue operations, and reconstruction efforts in the earthquake-affected areas.
