Narpa Bhumi Reaches Motorable Road Access Via New Bridge

Pokhara. There were 2 local levels in Gandaki Province that were not touched by the road network. These were Chumanubri in Gorkha and Narpa Bhumi in Manang. Roads have not yet reached the center of the village municipality. However, a road has now reached the Chumanubri municipality. The municipality is also making every effort to bring a road to Narpa Bhumi. The goal was to bring roads to the centers of these two local levels on the very day the Gandaki government was formed.

The provincial government's efforts have not been successful due to insufficient budget. However, the municipality did not give up its efforts. Now, a bridge has been constructed over the Marsyangdi River on the way to Narpa Bhumi. With the construction of the bridge near the district headquarters in Koto, a motorable road has now reached near the border of Narpa Bhumi. The village municipality chairman Konjo Tenzing Lama inaugurated the bridge on Monday.
